As a Nigerian passport holder you require a visa to visit the United States for any reasons. During the process of documentation the first stage is using the US visa application form online – Ds160 to complete your application online which carries all your information and submit online you will then receive a confirmation of your for sent to your email from and then print out your copy which you will take along with other documents to the embassy for interview.

HOW TO SCHEDULE APPOINTMENT FOR US VISA

You must schedule an appointment for your visa interview, generally, at the U.S. embassy or consulate in Abuja or Lagos.
Interview appointments is varied by location, season, and visa category, so you should apply for your visa on time.
After interview has been conducted successfully and you are will be ask to go to you pick up location which is usually the DHL office either in Isolo or VI for those in Lagos and normally take a duration of 4-5 days for pick up.

US VISA FEE COST

The non-refundable application fee for business and tourist visas is $160 which is ₦59,200.00 in the Nigerian currency.
Payments of the visa fee is advised to be paid to GTBank either in cash or online if you are an account holder at GTBank. The visa fee is subject to change whenever you decide to do so.
During your visa fee payment you will need to produce a printout copy of your international passport to enter your information available on your passport data page and a printout copy will be given to process your visa appointment.

• 6-Months valid Nigerian International passport with at least 2-3 blank pages for your visa to be placed.
• DS-160 application form confirmation page – with a Barcode

Document Drop-Off Locations

Once you are successful in your application is successful, there are two pick up locations getting your passport with your visa inside:

Pick-up from a DHL collection office.
Courier delivery to your chosen address.
Note: You will be able to choose a collection point for your passport and visa or opt to make use of a courier service when scheduling your visa interview.

You will be notified when your passport is ready for collection.

If you need to submit additional documents for processing they can be dropped off at one of the DHL collection offices.
